Production of the first-generation Twingo ceased in France in 2007, but in Colombia, the first model was discontinued in mid-2012. In total, more than 2.6 million have been produced. Its short front end and hood parallel to the windshield give it a minivan-like appearance, although its overall height and seating arrangement are typical of a passenger car.
