Euro Disney Grand Opening (ITV Version, 1992)

An live televised special of the grand opening night of Euro Disney Resort/Euro Disneyland in Paris (now known as Disneyland Paris) that took place on 11th April 1992 (a night before it fully opened to the public during the next day) and was broadcasted in 7 or more countries with different presenters taking part of the event to celebrate the countdown to the park's opening from Michael Eisner and one of the remaining family of Walt Disney at the time Roy (E.) Disney with performances from the skaters, singers Angela Lansbury, Cher and Tina Turner with Main Street Electrical Parade, Michael Jackson as Captain EO and comedic entertainment from the main rodent Mickey Mouse and all of his friends, guided by voiceover of all English versions: Steve Jones with all the classic bits from all Disney films and the park origins just to show how dreams is about to come true for an few extra hours of magical fun. This is the UK version that was produced from London Weekend Television to all ITV regions around the country that was presented by Matthew Kelly and of Fun House fame, Pat Sharp.
