Though accumulating an impressive portfolio of roles since 2007, it is safe to say that Bruun's calling revealed itself in when he took on the role of Cnut in the historical fiction television series, The Last Kingdom. With his striking Viking-like appearance and Danish as his mother tongue, Bruun has embodied the character both physically and mentally. Bruun's filmography also includes productions such as When The Dust Settles, Sprinter Galore, Land of Mine and Gaelden.
