10 years Muziekpublique | Iep Fourier: Waar, Waar, Waar

Today a fresh wind from the West Flemish blows at Muziekpublique! Iep Fourier lives for traditional music and is a passionated for drone instruments like the hurdy-gurdy and the bagpipes. As a founding member of the folk group Klakkebusse and through his collaboration with guitarist Gilbert Isbin, he reconciles popular music, experimental music and improvisation. For us, he performs a traditional Christmas song from Torhout entitled "Waar, Waar, Waar." ------------------------- Aujourd'hui un vent frais venu de l'Ouest flamande souffle chez Muziekpublique ! Iep Fourier vit pour la musique traditionnelle et cultive un passion pour les instruments de drones comme la vielle à roue et la cornemuse. En tant que membre fondateur du groupe folklorique Klakkebusse et à travers sa collaboration avec le guitariste Gilbert Isbin, il réconcilie la musique populaire, la musique expérimentale et l'improvisation . Pour nous, il interprète une chanson traditionnelle de Noël de Torhout intitulée « Waar, Waar , Waar ». ------------------ Vandaag niets anders dan een frisse West-Vlaamse wind door Muziekpublique! Iep Fourier leeft voor traditionele muziek, en vond meer specifiek zijn passie in bourdoninstrumenten zoals de draailier en de doedelzak. Als stichtend lid van de folkgroep Klakkebusse en zijn samenwerking met gitarist Gilbert Isbin, toont hij hoe je moeiteloos volksmuziek, experimentele muziek en improvisatie met elkaar kunt verzoenen.
