10° Focus Reumatologico: due giorni di confronto sulla gestione multidisciplinare della cronicità

The 10th Rheumatology Focus, an event organized by Dynamicom Education on the theme "Managing Chronic Rheumatic Diseases: A Multidisciplinary Approach," took place on November 14 and 15, 2025, at the Hotel Poggio del Sole in Ragusa. With Dr. Mario Bentivegna as scientific director, the event brought together numerous specialists from across Italy. The conference provided an important opportunity for physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of chronic rheumatic diseases to update and discuss their knowledge. Ample attention was given to new therapeutic strategies, the organization of treatment pathways, and the need for increasingly close collaboration between rheumatologists, internists, cardiologists, nephrologists, physiatrists, general practitioners, and community health professionals. During the event, Dr. Bentivegna emphasized the importance of early diagnosis as a fundamental tool for improving treatment outcomes and preventing irreversible damage. Also central to the discussion was the role of community medicine and an organizational model capable of effectively integrating hospital and community settings, ensuring continuity and appropriateness of care. Among the most discussed topics was the impact of new digital technologies: telemedicine, clinical data sharing platforms, and advanced monitoring tools, which are revolutionizing the management of rheumatology patients, promoting more timely, personalized, and multidisciplinary care. The ten thematic sessions that punctuated the program alternated presentations by nationally renowned experts and engaging interactive talk shows, enabling direct dialogue between specialists, patient associations, and the public. Discussions on personalized therapies and the prevention of comorbidities, increasingly topical issues in daily clinical practice, aroused great interest. At the conclusion of the proceedings, the 10th Rheumatology Focus confirmed its role as a key event for Italian rheumatology, offering concrete tools to improve the management of chronic conditions and strengthen care networks. The video interview with Dr. Mario Bentivegna is also available, which explores the objectives and results of the initiative.
