Air France 358 : Miracle sur la Piste 24L

Air France Flight 358 was a passenger flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport in Ontario, Canada, at Terminal 3. On August 2, 2005, the Airbus A340-313, registration F-GLZQ, caught fire minutes after overshooting runway 24L for approximately 200 meters during a landing attempt at Toronto Pearson at 4:02 p.m. (local time) in stormy weather conditions. The aircraft was carrying 297 passengers and 12 crew members, all of whom survived. There were 12 injuries (2 crew members and 10 passengers).
