How To Trim GT6 & Spitfire Dash and Door Tops | 1969 Triumph GT6 Mk2 Restoration | Pt 77

This time the job on the Triumph GT6 Mk2 restoration project is to trim the door tops / door capping and the dash top / crash pad. I had tried the door top with the moulded version, but it did not come out well. So, time to do it again, this time with flat vinyl. The door cappings are the same for all Spitfires and GT6es, except for the earliest roundtable cars. The dash top principals are similar over the whole range too, though the way they fit differs between the early Spitfires, and the GT6 and later Spitfires.
