I was wanting a change from my corporate marketing job in Silicon Valley, so I went out to search for a slower paced life. I love to go hiking and camping with my dog on the weekends, but I also like to go down to LA a couple of times a month to visit museums and enjoy nice restaurants. Tehachapi is the perfect location for road trips all over this amazing state, and I am lucky I found my dream home here! About Tehachapi: The greater Tehachapi area is a mountain community at the southern part of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The elevation ranges from 4000 ft - 6000 ft for most homes here. We have lots of hiking trails, wineries, and a quaint downtown to walk around. Tehachapi is known to have 4 seasons. It usually doesn’t get as hot as the rest of Southern CA, and the snow usually doesn’t last more than a day or two. Some of the amazing wildlife here are California Condors, Elk, Deer, Hawks, Bobcats, and a lot more! Tehachapi has a variety of homes and landscapes, so you can find a mountain cabin, a farmhouse ranch, or a desert oasis to call home.
