Derrick Borte Interview (Director of The Get Out)

Director Derrick Borte joins the podcast to discuss his new crime film, THE GET OUT, opening in theaters June 26th and available on digital June 30th. The film follows a nightclub owner on the verge of leaving his dangerous past behind, whose plans unravel when a masked gunman robs him and puts him in the crosshairs of a ruthless cartel. Starring Russell Crowe, Teresa Palmer, Luke Evans, Nina Dobrev, and Aaron Paul. Borte discusses adapting Thomas Perry's novel “Strip” with co-writer Daniel Forte, and what drew him to the project after making “Unhinged”.
