[Anchor] The first police interrogation of Professor Moss Tan, who is accused of spreading false information about President Lee Jae-myung, has failed to take place. Professor Tan expressed strong dissatisfaction with media exposure and requested a change of the date from the police. Reporter Lee Soo-bin reports. [Reporter] Barricades were set up in front of the main gate of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Reporters set up a photo line and waited for Professor Moss Tan's first police interrogation at 10 a.m., but Professor Tan ultimately did not appear. He stated that he would not attend if there was even a possibility of being photographed, and requested a change of the date, claiming that the police had violated personal information protection measures. Professor Tan is accused of spreading false information during a press conference held in Washington, D.C., last June, alleging that President Lee Jae-myung was involved in violent crimes during his youth. The remarks were disseminated domestically through social media, and the police have been investigating Professor Tan on charges of defamation against President Lee Jae-myung. Professor Tan has consistently refused to comply with police summonses since entering Korea on the 28th of last month, claiming he would verify allegations of election fraud. Consequently, the Ministry of Justice has imposed a travel ban on Professor Tan until the 30th.
