Update to newborn CCHD screening guidelines. Dr Sridhar Kalyanasundaram
Newborn critical congenital heart disease screening is a very important part of normal newborn screening. This enables early diagnosis and efficient management of CCHD using simple pulse oximetry. There have been a few recommended modifications of the guideline in US, I review the screening process, the important aspects to watch for and an outline of these updates. Please share.
