Ka-Bar Becker Bk2 vs Bk7 - The Bushwhackers
The Ka-Bar Becker Bk2 and BK7 are both excellent overall wilderness and camping knives. They could also both be used for survival very easily, or integrated into a bug out bag system. The BK2 is the shorter of the two knives, and has a thicker blade making it an overall bomb-proof heavy duty fixed blade. Whereas the BK7 has a longer blade, and thinner stock, which will make it more useful for the average camper or adventurer. Between the two knives, I prefer the BK7 as I find it to be a more useful design and size. Both knives can be had for less than $100 in the USA. In Canada, slightly more expensive, but overall Becker knives are considered a very affordable option in the high quality fixed blade world.
