From Akihabara and Ikebukuro to Tokyo Station, Shinjuku, and Shibuya, these stations are famous for confusing both tourists and Japanese people alike. Before making the ranking, I checked multiple Japanese websites, station maps, and various rankings created by other people. However, I want to emphasize that there is no single "correct" ranking. To be honest, all of the stations featured in this video are extremely complex, and I personally feel that any of the top stations could reasonably be considered #1 depending on the criteria used. There are also many other complicated stations in Tokyo that did not make this list. I simply selected the stations that I believe are among the most challenging for both tourists and many Japanese people. I also want to note that the numbers shown in the video (such as exits and train lines) are approximate. When researching station exits, I found that there is often no universally accepted definition of exactly how many exits a station has.
