The Fireblood Gream line features a unique collection of rods, each employing a different design concept. This top-of-the-line model symbolizes Shimano's fukase rods, honed through a blend of cutting-edge technology and the angler's sensibility. In the fall of 2025, a new model was released featuring the Spiral X Core, Muscle Carbon, and M46X for lighter casting and higher strength. The Dextral (1.3-500) was revamped, and the new Skimmer (1.1-530) was added. In late June, Takuya Heiwa and Akira Morii took these two models to the rocky shores of Yagahama in Ehime Prefecture. They initially struggled with the sudden rise in water temperature, but as the tide turned to high, they caught a string of 40cm-sized black porgy, including 49cm and 51cm. This demonstrated the high potential of the Dextral and Skimmer, capable of catching even unexpectedly large fish. Lightweight yet powerful!
