$100M Louvre Heist Shakes Art World, Ignites Kohinoor Debate

The Louvre Museum in Paris has become the focus of global attention after a daring daylight robbery that shocked the world. On 19th October, four masked thieves broke into the Apollo Gallery and stole eight priceless pieces of Napoleonic jewelry, worth more than $100M. The stolen items included an emerald necklace and earrings once owned by Emperor Napoleon and Empress Marie-Louise. With no alarms or motion sensors and only human patrols and cameras, thieves executed the job in under three minutes. Fortunately, the paintings were recovered weeks later, but the heist exposed a stark reality -- world-class art doesn't guarantee world-class protection.
