This wheel came on a complete mess of a bike which is too far gone to be saved however some of the components are still good. This wheel was in just as much of a state as the bike with 8 speed campy cassette bodged to run a 7 speed Shimano drivetrain, a loose axle and a couple of snapped spokes. Last week I fixed the spokes so this week it’s time to service the axle. Tools needed: Vice (to mount the wheel) Adjustable wrench Two cone spanners Tweezers Allen Key You’ll also need containers to clean the parts in, part cleaner and fresh grease / oil. Replacing the bearings, springs and seal is optional.
