DIY Halloween How To: Floating Lantern

In this video I show you how I made my "Floating Lantern" prop by using a modified version of the Axworthy Ghost mechanism. And making the lantern out for foam to keep this prop weight low. Materials used: 2 - 10" wheels from a small kids bike (used/Goodwill/garage sales) 1 - 12 volt Speed Controller ( Amazon) 1 - Wiper Motor from monsterguts.com (not sponsored) 1 - Small 6oz. plastic container 1 - 12 volt connector Female end 1 - M8-1.25 Female threads x 3/8"-24 Male threads Adapter (snakeclamp.com - Not Sponsored) 1 - 10" metal drawer slide with bearings 1 - 1/4" x 6" turnbuckle fastener 1 - 2"x4"x8ft Doug Fir standard ( Home Depot - Not Sponsored) 1 - Roll of 50lbs. Test Fishing line 3 - Black Fishing swivels Scrap pieces of pink foam board to create the Lantern 1 - small LED tea light 1 - Clear plastic water bottle - Smart Water to create the lantern lens Black and white spray paint or brush on will also work I'd like to thank all my friends and family that has encouraged me to make this video.
