Pignola - Piccola Grande Italia
Formerly called Vineòla, Pignòla's name changed over the centuries. The origins of the village are lost in time and mystery. Some believe it was founded by Emperor Titus Vespasian, others by noblemen from Potenza who fled Potenza after being overrun by the plebeians.
