World Championship Blacksmiths 2017 season is in full swing. Big Horn, WY is the third stop for the WCB crew. The judge for the Big Horn contest is Austin Edens, CJF. In this video Craig makes a work horse front. Austin submitted this work horse front as one of the two shoes in the two person class. This class is one hour and the competitors have to make both shoes. This front shoe is made out of 16" x 1" x 1/2" and the toe bar is 5/8" square. The shoe has double caulkens and a jumped on toe bar. It is punched for 6 E8 nails and it measures 5 1/2" wide and 6 1/2" long. The contest will be September 2-4, 2017.
