Clarification note Consolare, the concessionaire responsible for managing the Quarta Parada cemetery since March 2023, reports that it expects to complete a complete renovation of the necropolis by the end of this year, ahead of the four-year deadline set out in the São Paulo City Hall concession notice. The concessionaire also emphasizes that all maintenance and care work on the graves/tombs is the responsibility of the families. It is important to clarify that, by law, cemetery administrators cannot work on the renovation of graves without the authorization of the family. Many of the bones on display are the result of the abandonment of these sites, which highlights the need for action on the part of the families. To assist them in this process, Consolare has been carrying out public call-out campaigns to regularize and update records, so that it is possible to contact and guide the families on the measures necessary for the conservation of the graves. The concessionaire reiterates its investment commitment and is committed to implementing the necessary improvements as quickly as possible to ensure comfort for residents.
