2008-2017 VW Scirocco Front Brake Pads & Discs Replacement DIY

Just a simple brake job on my mates VW Scirocco. Very easy when you have the tools available to you. Only requires a brake wind back tool, basic sockets, spanners, copper and lithium grease. Tools required: 7mm allen key Brake wind back kit Pry bar 21mm socket (i think) Breaker bar Various ratchets Brake cleaner Copper grease Lithium grease Axle jack and stands Torque specs: Caliper carrier bracket: ~175Nm Caliper slider pins: ~30Nm Always worth consulting manufacturer documents for exact specs, I just tightened mine down as tight as I could go with the carrier bolts and haven't had any issues.
