32esima edizione del Carnevale di Alba Adriatica, sfilano 11 carri e parla la politica

A large turnout enlivened the Alba Adriatica waterfront this evening for the 32nd edition of the Summer Carnival, which has become one of the most anticipated events of the Abruzzo summer. The highlight of the evening, today, Thursday, August 7, attracted thousands of residents, tourists, and enthusiasts, confirming the success of an event that combines tradition, entertainment, and innovation. A major new development for the 2025 edition was the twinning with the Municipality of Sant'Egidio alla Vibrata, which provided seven of the 11 floats. The mayor of Alba Adriatica, Councilor Paolo Tribuiani, Flavio Bartolini representing the Province, and the mayor of Sant'Egidio were present at the opening ceremony, demonstrating the bond between the two territories through culture and carnival. The parade features 11 allegorical floats from Sant'Egidio alla Vibrata, Martinsicuro, and Montefiore dell'Aso, joined by masked groups from Alba Adriatica and Pineto, and the spectacular masquerades of the Misterbianco Historical Carnival, considered among the most beautiful in Italy. The association with Misterbianco has been going on for twenty years, with its costumes renowned internationally, as evidenced by its participation in Columbus Day in New York. Among the evening's stars: Simone Tommolini, JustGiò, DJ Fabio Baldini, influencers, and entertainers associated with the event. The grand finale will take place at 12:30 a.m. on the main stage, with awards for the most beautiful masks and a closing DJ set.
