Rangers 2 v 1 Celtic - League Cup Final 1986

Rangers won the league cup with a 2-1 victory against Celtic at Hampden Park. Ian Durrant opened the scoring early in the second half but Brian McClair equalised before Davie Cooper scored a late penalty to win the cup. In a dramatic final five minutes, Mo Johnston was red carded for a head butt on Stuart Munro while Tony Shepherd was also sent off but the decision was changed after clarification that it was a Celtic fan in the main stand that hit the referee.
