In the army now! British National service.
In the army now! British National service. A close look the British National service. Between 1947 and 1963 more than 2 million British men were called up to the armed forces, often serving in one of Britain’s many garrisons around the world. After attending a medical and joining up, all conscripts had six weeks of basic training during which they got used to military life. The experience many men had of being thrown into combat situations, such as in Korea, Malaya, Kenya, Cyprus and Suez, would never be forgotten. And 395 of these National Servicemen were killed on active service. #britisharmy #coldwar Help support our channel - donate on PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?cmd=_s...
