What distinguishes the training to become an orthopedic technician? Florian Thomas Shenton addressed this question and, as part of his final exam as a media designer, filmed a portrait of one of our trainees at UKM ProTec. In this video, Lotta Hensel explains why she decided to train as an orthopedic technician. "I've always been interested in crafts and medicine has always been very interesting," she says, describing her motivation. Combining both interests, giving people a new outlook on life, and seeing what one has created with one's own hands ultimately motivated her to begin her training at UKM. Sven Rogowski, who has worked as an orthopedic technician at UKM ProTec for many years, agrees: "My greatest motivation is providing care for people, working with them, and the happiness we can bring them."
