How to clear choked basin. Do you find the water flow in the basin has slowed or clogged? This happens quite often if you have a basin at home. There is a vital accessory below the basin called a bottle trap. It has dual functions. It will trap foreign matters from finding its way into the piping system. And to prevent odors from traveling back up into the bathroom. Once this happens, the simple remedy is to dismantle the bottle trap and clean it.
