VS of the crew of a battleship doing gas drill, the crew rush to their stations all wearing gas masks, decontamination squads scrub the decks of the ship in training against the possibility of an attack by liquid gas. Shots of the ship firing her guns VS of the crew of a trawler minesweeper watching the ship's painter putting a chevron on the funnel to mark another enemy mine as destroyed. The crew the give three cheers and drink a toast. VS of the survivors of the African crew of an African merchant ship that was sunk by mines in the Channel, coming ashore in England where they are re-clothed and then fed by naval personnel. VS of sailors helping young women to pick fruit in an orchard. Good shots of them larking around in among the fruit trees. It looks like these nice girls love sailors.
