El reto de aprender: Pablo Pineda at TEDxRetiro

Pablo Pineda Ferrer is a Spanish actor who won the Silver Shell for Best Actor at the 2009 San Sebastián International Film Festival for his role in the film 'Yo, también' (Me Too). In the film, he plays a university graduate with Down syndrome. In real life, he holds a teaching diploma and is just a few courses away from completing a degree in educational psychology. He is primarily recognized for this achievement, as he is the first European with Down syndrome to graduate from university. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
