Designing a Physical Plants vs. Zombies Heroes Game
After all the support on the first video, I wanted to show you how this project actually works. In this episode, I walk through some of the biggest design challenges I faced while turning Plants vs. Zombies Heroes into a fully playable physical tabletop game. From the board layout and hero health to the spinner, block meter, turn tracker, and ability tiles, every mechanic had to be redesigned to work outside the app. The cards are almost finished, and I'll finally start revealing them in the next episode! Can you guess which four classes I chose for the first playable version? Leave your guesses in the comments before the next video. 🌻 Thanks so much for following this project! 00:00 Intro 01:22 Designing the Board 02:51 Tracking Hero Health 03:43 The Spinner 04:50 Solving the Block Meter 05:47 Ability Tiles & Modifiers 06:35 The Turn Tracker 08:01 Next Episode: The Cards 08:59 Thanks for Watching Episode 1:    • I've Been Working on a Physical PvZ Heroes...  If you enjoyed this video, consider subscribing so you don't miss future updates and gameplay! #PlantsVsZombies #PvZHeroes #BoardGame #Tabletop #CardGame #FanProject
