Cultural Appropriation in Japan | What Japanese People Really Think

Recently, there has been a slight controversy of whether or not Karlie Kloss has appropriated Japanese culture in her recent photo shoot for Vogue magazine. I thought it would be interesting to see what Japanese people thought of the photos and what they generally thought of non-Japanese people wearing traditional Japanese clothing. The responses I got were limited due to location and time constraights, however I do think the responses reflect the larger population. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anyone with a differing opinion and therefore could not include that side of the debate. I really enjoyed making this type of video! I hope you guys like it too!
