The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, seems to work hard to maintain a normal life amongst all of this royalty. Between running errands, going to work, hosting dinner parties and being a mom of three, it can be easy to forget that Kate is an actual princess and not just a really impressive woman who seems to have it all. From ballgowns to jeans, Kate’s day to day life is a lot more mundane than we see from UK news, but she seems to love it. The duchess and Prince William have made lots of choices as a couple and as parents that go against tradition, finding ways to raise their family at their own speed. These choices include balancing being really present in their kids lives with their official engagements in a new way. While some royals seem to throw themselves into their work, leaving parenthood to play second fiddle, Kate seems to have found a way to keep all her plates spinning. After dropping her kids off at school, the Duchess runs errands, walks the dog, and then sometimes ends the day in an Alexander McQueen gown while she hosts foreign dignitaries and navigates swarms of press.
