US President Donald Trump discusses a pathway forward to a long-term peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. “This deal has been in the works for a long time … and Russia - it’s a big country, but it’s a big force. Russia has always been a big fighting force,” Mr Trump said. “It’s a nasty war. Thousands and thousands, mostly soldiers, are being killed.”
