Puerta Plata - Marien Hotel - Mega Tours
Dominican Republic Puerto Plata 2026 We stayed at the Marien Hotel. Listed as a 4 star. There were a few issues with the room and difficulty with communication. I told the front desk it was more like a 3 Star. The food was good and staff friendly but most didn't do well with English. Golf was great at Playa Dorada but costly, green fees, cart, caddy, tip add up fast. MegaTours Excursion was amazing. Very safe and great value.
