This video teaches you how to properly perform simple yoga asanas and pranayama to relieve constipation. Regular yoga practice will surely relieve constipation. What constipation is, what causes it, which yoga asanas to practice, and home remedies that can provide relief from constipation are all explained in detail. Some of the causes of constipation are: 1. Your diet is low in fiber, which makes it take longer for food to pass through the large intestine, and the intestines draw in extra water, making it hard and dry. 2. You drink less water, which already makes your food dry. 3. You don't exercise throughout the day, which prevents proper peristalsis. 4. You have diabetes, hypothyroidism, hypercalcemia, celiac disease, Parkinson's disease, or gluten sensitivity. Prolonged constipation can also lead to serious problems like hemorrhoids/piles, anal fissures, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), and fecal impaction. Yogasanas: 1. Baddhakonasana 2.
