Easy “CHOCOLATE” Valentine’s Candies for Dogs! (Will my husky approve?)

Valentine’s Day is today! Or… it was? Haha. Well, what better way to celebrate than with chocolate? But wait! What about your sweet dog? Don’t you wish you could share some of that chocolaty goodness with them? With this special Valentine’s Day recipe, you can! These homemade dog-friendly “chocolate” treats are super easy to make (using only 2 ingredients) and your dog will be sure to love them! The best part is that you can eat these too! Skaya absolutely fell in love with these DIY “chocolate” candies for dogs (and so did some of the humans in her family! 😂) And if a picky husky like her likes them, you just know they’ve got to be delicious! Please note: chocolate is TOXIC to dogs and should never be fed to them under any circumstance! The ingredient used in this recipe to simulate chocolate is carob. Carob is not chocolate/cocoa and is safe for your pet. It still does contain sugar however, so only feed it in moderation. Hope you enjoy these! Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤🌹 RECIPE: ½ cup of all-natural peanut butter (NO xylitol!) ¾ cup of carob chips Combine in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on medium-power in short bursts. Pour into mold and let set in fridge/freezer until solidified. Can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Remember that this is a treat and should be fed occasionally. Do NOT use this as a meal replacement! Treats should comprise no more than 10% of your dog's daily intake of food.
