Painting Your Nails Successfully Blindfolded - Tutorial

Ever wonder how a blind girl paints her nails? Ever want to try yourself? The right says blind girl paints nails in bold lettering. ----- Social Media: Instagram @ unsightlyopinion Twitter: @ unsightlyop Snapchat @ unsightlyop Twitch @ UnsightlyGaming Facebook @ Unsightly Opinion Web/Blog @ www.unsightlyopinion.com ----- Here are a list of tools used in this video and a Quick Reference version of the tips provided if you want to try this for yourself and paint your nails without any vision required, Tools: Cotton Rounds Pure Acetone Nail-polish remover A stiff bristled fine straight-edged brush (mine is a repurposed eyeliner brush) Nail-polish - Base Coat, Top Coat, and Coloured Polish if desired A Towel - just in case of spills Nail file (if necessary) Nail Oil (if necessary) Prep your nails in whichever way you prefer, cutting filing, removing old polish, etc. (The following steps work for any nail polish application - base-coat, polish, topcoat, sparkles, etc.) Tie up long hair (if required) Put nail polish in the fridge for 15-30 minutes before starting to paint your nails - this makes it easer to feel exactly where it is hitting the nail Aim to put nail-polish brush halfway down the nail in the centre and push the brush back towards the cuticle stopping when you feel it then advancing back towards the tip of the nail Repeat step 3 on each side of centre for the nail Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each nail on your hand. Do a rough clean-up with acetone nail varnish remover and Q-tips Do a fine clean-up along the edges with the brush If you find it difficult to judge where you finger or nail are, using the same hand that is holding the brush, use your fifth or fourth finger to reach out and touch the tip of the finger you are painting to help guide yo towards the nail move your hands into whatever position is most comfortable or convenient for you - brace against your other fingers, lay them on a surface, whatever feels best to have control of your hands location Don’t be afraid to make a mess - cleanup will fix any mistakes you make along the way!
