In our video interview series "Ekiden Coaches," we feature Eiji Ogo, a legendary coach who has etched his name in the history of the Hakone Ekiden. He currently serves as the vice-chairman of the Kanto Intercollegiate Athletics Federation and also acts as a spokesperson for the competition through television commentary. He is also serving as the track and field coach and supervisor for the drama "Our Hakone Ekiden," which starts in October, and continues to consider the potential of the competition from various angles.
