Destination: Carlisle, PA for the Chrysler Nationals. Transportation: 1961 Plymouth Deluxe Suburban 2dr. My friend Pete and I take his 1961 Plymouth 2dr wagon on a roadtrip to the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA. One way it's about 500 miles. We take a longer slower way from North Carolina to Pennsylvania trying to stick to the old two lane as much as possible. It's hot. Perfect time for a long trip with no A/C... but we got a secret weapon that Pete has brought along. The ICYBREEZE! We'll see how this not swamp cooler works... or if it works for that matter. Once in Carlisle we take see the showfield and swapmeet, museums and more.
