[remastered] Kulenkampff plays Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto (1939)

This is a remastered version of my initial upload (   • Kulenkampff plays Tchaikovsky Violin Conce...  ) the tonal balance of which I found not quite right. German 78 rpm records. Telefunken, recorded 4 April 1939. Georg Kulenkampff, violin, Artur Rother, conductor, Orchester der Staatsoper Berlin (Berlin State Opera Orchestra). E3010-13 | 024158-65 -no special cleaning of discs -transferred from the original 78 rpm record at 78 rpm with a budget turntable (Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB with Shure M 75 Type D system) equipped with special needle (95 µm, spherical). Turntable speed adjusted to correct pitch. -analogue mono conversion -analogue RIAA compensation using Behringer FBQ3102HD Ultragraph Pro equalizer (2 times sequential mono) -analogue equalization by ear to obtain more natural sound using Behringer FBQ800 equalizer (2 times sequential mono) -A/D conversion using Zoom H2 recorder as interface at 44100 Hz -Audacity at 44100 Hz/32 bit float: -removal of -50 dB background noise in signal chain -declicking/decrackling with ClickRepair (Wavelet, declick: 45, decrackle: 25, automatic: all, pitch protection off, reverse) -Audacity at 44100 Hz/32 bit float: -check/correct pitch again -normalisation to 0 dB -merging disc matrices -no spatial enhancement, pure mono -Reaper: -additional EQ for better tonal balance -rendering of video using KDEnlive
