WELCOME! It's time once again to TAME YOUR SCRAPS with me! LET'S MAKE ANOTHER GREAT GROCERY TOTE with two pockets! This bag is FAIRLY EASY, FAST, BEGINNER FRIENDLY, simple sewing! The base of this bag is an up-cycled vintage vinyl tablecloth with a 'flannel' back that was thrifted. It was an oval measuring 52" x 70" and I cut two rectangles from it. Stay tuned for the 2nd tote! The measurements of the RECTANGLE I started with: 23" x 40". Finished dimensions: 16" tall, base is 6" x 16" rectangular (with a 3" BOX CORNER, making it a bit wider at the top) I didn't measure my pockets. This GREAT grocery tote is super easy. It took me about 2 hours to make it, from start to finish! Dream big! Use up scraps and stash! Use an orphan block! Use scraps! Use your imagination and have lots of fun dreaming up your next project! Make it YOUR size, YOUR colors, YOUR decoration!
