Humans of Andela: Mbarak Mbigo

Meet Mbarak: this is his story. Mbarak is a Full-Stack Engineer based in Nairobi. Orphaned as a child, Mbarak transformed his life when he found his vocation in technology. As a teenager, watching his friends gaming, Mbarak became fascinated with computers before pursuing Computer Studies at University. Over the past decade, Mbarak has climbed the career ladder to become a successful tech leader, not only ensuring effective delivery, but providing mentorship to the wider tech community. Founding the Kilifi Tech Community with his close friends, Mbarak regularly mentors up-and-coming technologists across Kilifi County.
