Trail running en Islandia, día 3

In southern Iceland, there are two trekking routes that are worth doing at least once in a lifetime. Laugavegur, between Landmannalaugar and Thorsmork, and Fimmvorduhals, between Thorsmork and Skógafoss. They cover almost 90 km along trails of lava and ice, with fumaroles, river crossings, mountains of every color, lakes, and charming mountain huts. It's usually done in 5 or 6 days on foot, but we decided to do it in 3 days, with routes of 22, 37, and 28 km, running as much as possible and walking on the uphill sections. The end result was a small adventure for four friends through dreamlike landscapes. The cold, the rain, and the rivers added an epic touch.
