I recently joined a 15-day trip on the Balmoral from Edinburgh to the Arctic islands of Svalbard. The Balmoral is scheduled for a lot of cruises to Norway over the coming years so if you’re considering a trip on the Balmoral, this is the video for you. Having previously been on the other two ships currently in the Fred Olsen fleet--the Borealis and the Bolette--both on other cruises to Norway, I was keen to ‘complete the set’ with the Balmoral and discover how the oldest ship in the fleet would compare.
