Following songs were used in this video: THE HAPPY SONG - Nicolai Heidlas Music: • Video We switched recording place! Oh Noooo. Same same, but different, but STILL same: • The Interview - Same same speech To Learn The Lip Synth: You need a lot of pressure. The way I explain it in the video is that you combine your throat kick with your grunting (scream). You could explain it like forcefully scream at one particular moment. Then combine that you make a kissing face, with a tiny hole through your lips. To make the different pitches on the synth you'll have to just change the pitch of your "scream" or "grunt". This tutrial is about going in depth: When you got the sound down you need to master it. In order to master it you have to be able to put it into a beat. That means it should be easy to execute. But then you can't make an aggressive sound that takes a lot of force. This sound is about a balance between how forceful your "grunt" is and the size of the hole through your lips. Small hole and much force gives a very strong lip synth. But if you have a small hole, you don't need a lot of force to make a good lip synth. That's why, when you got the sound down you should try to make the hole smaller so that you don't have to push a lot of air through. As result, it gets less forced and easier to use in beats. You can make two slight variations on this sound. Either you keep your cheeks** ;) still or you can let the air expand in your cheeks. When you let the air expand in your lips like this you'll get a longer sound. If you keep your lips still you'll find that the sound is even easier to execute.
