It was love at first sight. Or perhaps I should say, love after the first operations session. In January of 2019, I was invited to join the crew of Michael Hauk’s Susquehanna & New York Railroad. After spending a few hours running trains on his HO layout, I was so enamored with it that I decided I wanted to take it home with me. Since I couldn’t physically do this, it became the first layout I built in Trainz Railroad Simulator which you see here. But what makes this obscure Northeast Pennsylvania shortline an unforgettable layout?
