Helaman gave Mustafa The Poet his first listen starting with his 2024 debut studio album, Dunya. Dunya reflects on Mustafa's experiencing growing up in Regiant Park, being a Black Muslim in a western world, and remembering the loved ones he has lost. His soft vocal delivery on top of the blend of American Folk acoustic guitar and traditional Sudanese instruments makes for one of the best albums that came out last year.
