UD-400/5X

Die and mold manufacturers will be particularly interested in the new UD-400/5X, a specially designed 5-axis machine incorporating Mazak’s extensive accumulated technologies, to machine micro precision components up to Ø400mm x 300mm and 120kg in weight. This brand-new machine has outstanding performance characteristics, including an ultra-high axes acceleration and jerk rate coupled with a high-speed 45,000rpm HSK-E40 spindle. The symmetrically designed base and double column structure of the UD-400/5X delivers exceptional high accuracy which is further enhanced with spindle and ballscrew core cooling, as well as scale feedback, and all linear and rotary axes.
