5 Easy Steps to Make Beat | Koala Sampler Tutorial

If you’re unsure how to start making a beat in Koala Sampler from scratch, here’s a mini tutorial to help you out! I’ll walk you through my usual workflow in just 5 easy steps. We’ll begin by finding your favorite track (jazz edition on YouTube works great), importing it into Koala Sampler, splitting it into stems, and chopping the melody to create new patterns. Then, we’ll add more layers like a bassline (use Quokka Synth) and vocal one-shots. Finally, we’ll set up MIDI mapping for a controller (I’m using the M-Vave SMC-PAD) and finish with a live demo performance.
