Jamaal Makes Mango Chow
Jamaal makes his favorite snack, mango chow. #mango Ingredients: 6 half ripe mangoes (peeled and cut into bite sized pieces) 2 bundles chadon beni (chopped) 6 cloves garlic (peeled) 4 pimentos (chopped) 1 scotch bonnet pepper (chopped) 1 tbsp salt 1 tbsp black pepper 2 tbsp vinegar Directions: 1. Place chadon beni, garlic, pimento and scotch bonnet pepper in a food processor then blend until a paste is formed 2. Add vinegar to green seasoning mixture 3. Place mangoes in a bowl then season with salt, black pepper and green seasoning mixture 4. Allow to marinate for at least 1 hour. Best results if left overnight 5.
