7-String Lyre Demo and Improvisation Tutorial

Tuning is a common tuning involving six notes of a major scale. The first note starting on the 2nd string and going up to the sixth degree on string 7. The 1st string is also the 6th degree of the scale but an octave lower than the 7th string (or one and a half steps below string 2). If you have another brand of lyre then be sure to follow your instrument's recommended tuning and consider string tension as well as suitable key before retuning to match.
